May 17th is the International Day Against Homophobia

Did you know that the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the list of mental illnesses on a May 17th? That's why that was chosen as The International Day Against Homophobia. Just before the first World Outgames opened in 2006, a conference on human rights took place and instigated the IDAHO.
